China Suppliers Factory Water Partitioning Machine - Oil Aquatic Divider Unit for Kitchens and Commercial Drainage
Equipment Principle
The oil-water separator is a specialized device for collecting waste oils and fats discharged through kitchen drainage. Sewage enters the solid-liquid separation chamber via the inlet of the oil-water separator. Larger solid impurities in the sewage are intercepted by the screen mesh and then lifted to the collection bin by the screw conveyor.
A sedimentation hopper is set at the bottom of the solid-liquid separation area. Sewage free of solids and impurities flows out of the outlet of the solid-liquid separation zone into the oil-water separation chamber. Inside the oil-water separation chamber, due to the different densities of oil and water, the oil floats on top of the separation zone.
The still water at the bottom of the oil-water separation chamber is discharged into the temporary sewage storage tank through the outlet pipe. An oil discharge port is set above the oil-water separation chamber, and oil is periodically discharged based on its quantity. The oil-separated sewage then enters the temporary sewage storage tank and is pumped into the municipal sewer network.
1. Solid-Liquid Separation
Larger solid impurities are intercepted by a screen mesh and transferred to the collection bin via a screw conveyor.
2. Gravity Oil Separation
Utilizing density differences, oil naturally floats to the top of the chamber while water remains at the bottom.
3. Discharge & Pump
Separated oil is periodically discharged, and the clean sewage is safely pumped into the municipal sewer network.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the primary function of the oil-water separator?
The oil-water separator is a specialized device designed to collect and separate waste oils and fats from kitchen drainage before the wastewater enters the sewer system.
How are solid impurities handled by the system?
Larger solid impurities are intercepted by a screen mesh in the solid-liquid separation chamber. A screw conveyor then lifts these solids into a dedicated collection bin.
What scientific principle is used to separate oil from water?
Separation is achieved due to the different densities of oil and water. Because oil has a lower density than water, it floats to the top of the separation chamber while the water remains at the bottom.
How is the separated oil discharged?
An oil discharge port is located at the upper section of the separation chamber. The accumulated oil is periodically discharged through this port based on the volume collected.
Where does the treated sewage go after separation?
The clean water at the bottom of the chamber flows through an outlet pipe into a temporary sewage storage tank, from where it is pumped directly into the municipal sewer network.
