    Equipment principle

The oil-water separator is a specialized device for collecting waste oils and fats discharged through kitchen drainage. Sewage enters the solid-liquid separation chamber via the inlet of the oil-water separator. Larger solid impurities in the sewage are intercepted by the screen mesh and then lifted to the collection bin by the screw conveyor. A sedimentation hopper is set at the bottom of the solid-liquid separation area. Sewage free of solids and impurities flows out of the outlet of the solid-liquid separation zone into the oil-water separation chamber. Inside the oil-water separation chamber, due to the different densities of oil and water, the oil floats on top of the separation zone. The still water at the bottom of the oil-water separation chamber is discharged into the temporary sewage storage tank through the outlet pipe. An oil discharge port is set above the oil-water separation chamber, and oil is periodically discharged based on its quantity. The oil-separated sewage then enters the temporary sewage storage tank and is pumped into the municipal sewer network.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the primary function of the oil-water separator?
It is a specialized device designed for collecting waste oils and fats discharged through kitchen drainage systems.
How are large solid impurities separated from the sewage?
Larger solid impurities are intercepted by a screen mesh in the solid-liquid separation chamber and then lifted to a collection bin via a screw conveyor.
What separates the oil from the water inside the chamber?
Separation occurs naturally due to the different densities of oil and water, causing the lighter oil to float to the top of the separation zone.
How is the separated water discharged from the separation chamber?
The still water at the bottom of the oil-water separation chamber is discharged into a temporary sewage storage tank through an outlet pipe.
How is the accumulated oil removed from the system?
An oil discharge port is positioned above the oil-water separation chamber, allowing the oil to be periodically discharged based on the accumulated quantity.
Where does the sewage go after the oil and solids are removed?
The oil-separated sewage enters a temporary sewage storage tank and is ultimately pumped into the municipal sewer network.
