    Equipment principle

The oil-water separator is a specialized device for collecting waste oils and fats discharged through kitchen drainage. Sewage enters the solid-liquid separation chamber via the inlet of the oil-water separator. Larger solid impurities in the sewage are intercepted by the screen mesh and then lifted to the collection bin by the screw conveyor. A sedimentation hopper is set at the bottom of the solid-liquid separation area. Sewage free of solids and impurities flows out of the outlet of the solid-liquid separation zone into the oil-water separation chamber. Inside the oil-water separation chamber, due to the different densities of oil and water, the oil floats on top of the separation zone. The still water at the bottom of the oil-water separation chamber is discharged into the temporary sewage storage tank through the outlet pipe. An oil discharge port is set above the oil-water separation chamber, and oil is periodically discharged based on its quantity. The oil-separated sewage then enters the temporary sewage storage tank and is pumped into the municipal sewer network.

    🔍 Solid-Liquid Separation

Screen mesh intercepts large impurities, which are then moved to a collection bin via a screw conveyor.

    💧 Density-Based Floating

Utilizing the density difference, oil naturally floats to the top while clear water remains at the bottom.

    🚀 Automated Discharge

Separated sewage is collected in a temporary tank and pumped directly into the municipal network.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the primary function of the oil-water separator?
It is specifically designed to collect and separate waste oils and fats from kitchen drainage before the water enters the municipal sewer system.
How are solid impurities handled in the system?
Larger solids are intercepted by a screen mesh and then automatically lifted into a dedicated collection bin by a screw conveyor.
How does the oil separation process work?
The process relies on the different densities of oil and water; oil naturally floats to the top of the separation chamber for periodic discharge.
What happens to the sediment during separation?
A sedimentation hopper is located at the bottom of the solid-liquid separation area to collect any settling particles.
Where does the treated water go?
The still water from the bottom of the chamber is discharged into a temporary storage tank and then pumped into the municipal sewer network.
How is the oil discharged from the chamber?
An oil discharge port is located at the top of the separation chamber, allowing oil to be removed periodically based on the accumulated quantity.
